These terms cover using this website and buying from Amba Nepal (“we”, “us”). By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If anything here conflicts with a right you hold under Australian Consumer Law, the law wins — nothing on this page limits those rights.

Who we are

Amba Nepal is an Australian business selling handmade goods sourced directly from workshops in Nepal, fulfilled and sold to customers in Australia in Australian dollars.

Using this site

You can browse and buy from this site for personal use. You agree not to use it to do anything unlawful, to interfere with how it runs, or to copy or scrape the catalogue, photography or written content for your own commercial use without asking us first.

Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details to yourself and for anything done through your account. Tell us straight away at hello@ambanepal.com.au if you think someone else has access to it.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale — we accept it (and the contract is formed) when we send your dispatch confirmation, not your order confirmation. We can decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example if a listing had an incorrect price or an item turns out to be out of stock; if we do, we refund whatever you paid in full.

Pricing and payment

All prices on this site are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. We try to keep pricing accurate, but if a genuine error slips through — a decimal point in the wrong place, for example — we will contact you before processing the order rather than honour the mistaken price.

Made-to-order and stock

Some pieces are made to order in small batches rather than held as stock; the product page notes when that applies and gives an expected dispatch window. Because each piece is handmade, small variations in colour, grain or weave from the product photograph are normal and are not considered a fault.

Intellectual property

The photography, product descriptions, logo and written content on this site belong to Amba Nepal or are used with permission. You are welcome to link to us or share a product page — reusing our photography or copy elsewhere needs our written permission first.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or your order. Nothing here excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
