Kanduk Drawstring Backpack

Hemp cloth woven on a treadle loom in the Kathmandu Valley, cut and sewn into a drawstring pack with a dhaka-patterned flap and a hand-stamped leather tab. The main compartment takes a 14-inch laptop, a jumper and a water bottle, and the cord cinches down so nothing shifts on the ride to work. Hemp starts stiff and softens with carrying — a year in, it holds the shape of how you use it.

Dimensions

H 46cm × W 30cm × D 14cm, with an adjustable drawstring collar and a 65cm shoulder strap drop.

Hand-loomed hemp, cotton dhaka flap, vegetable-tanned leather trim.
